Hello Loves. On the docket today is something purple, something peep-toe, and something pump-y. Go with it. Bottom line, it’s about House of Harlow’s 1960 Purple ‘Pearl’ Platform Pump & How to Wear It.
Do I love a good purple (more violet/lavender, less Barney) moment as much as the next girl? Of course. Can I work a peep-toe pump in this, what some would call regal, hue, into a look that’s actually wearable? Um, allow me to say it again, of course. Case in point, a quick daytime look using the shoe as the fashion- forward foundation (happy alliteration moment). Here we go:

1. James Perse Cotton Tee- $50 (www.net-a-porter.com) | 2. 3.1 Phillip Lim Cropped Bootleg Trouser- was $350, now $175 (www.lagarconne.com) | 3. House of Harlow 1960 Purple ‘Pearl’ Platform Pump- was $316.80, now $189.75 (www.my-wardrobe.com) | 4. Gorjana ‘Taner’ Three Bar Gold Necklace- was $120, now $66 (www.couturecandy.com) | 5. Oryany ‘Drew’ Convertible Tote- was $398, now $238.80 (www.bluefly.com) | 6. Gretchen Jones for Piperlime Philosopher’s Stone Ring- $58 (www.piperlime.gap.com)
The colors are neutral, from the 3.1 Phillip Lim cropped pant to the uber-soft James Perse tee, allowing this peep-toe pump from House of Harlow it’s rightful moment in the spotlight. Gold tones add polish courtesy of a little Gorjana three tier neck action and Gretchen Jones’ ring named after the Philosopher’s Stone (all those who believe in old-school alchemy, elixirs of life that may also turn other metals into gold, rejoice). Pull it all together with a line I’m all about at the moment, Oryany, and their convertible tote. Done and done.
