My Story

What this site is about:
I’ll keep it simple. I take my favorite products out there and show how to wear them. Throw in a few honest product reviews and you’ve got all the highlights.
That’s the ‘elevator pitch’ version, but there’s always more….

The best way to describe my relationship with fashion is via my undying love affair with finding the right jacket:

There’s something that changes when you put on a well-tailored jacket. It happens often in fashion, this transition that occurs with the addition of one item. Some women feel this ‘shift’ when slipping on a stiletto, other’s feel it when they slide a bold statement ring onto their finger.
I know, when I put that perfectly constructed jacket over my shoulders, that I can do almost anything. I guess you could say it’s like my version of a super-hero cape, minus the Marvel comics flash and subsequent primary color combinations. Sure, I don’t throw it on in the morning and go “up, up, and away,” that would be both ridiculous and hilarious in a “aw-she’s-certifiable,” way. It does however, change the way I walk into my day, it reminds me why I love fashion. Not for the consumption of the latest trends, but for the creativity and re-creation that can occur when the piece moves off the hanger and onto me.

My background, the super-condensed version:

I’ve spent the last decade in the land of high-end fashion from the selling floor to buying office. Over the course of that time, I’ve come across plenty of resources happy to tell me what the top trends are each season. The only problem is information overload, and I’m not a fan. Knowing what the trends are is fabulous. Finding the and making them your own is the real key.

This site is what I have been doing for myself for years, and after a little coaxing from close friends I’ve helped along the way, I decided to give the world access, whether you like it or not.

Hopefully, it helps to inspire or even just save a little time.
