Here’s why I love Altuzarra. Well, there are two reasons. First, the designer’s vision is a combination of contemporary and practical. Yes, I used the term practical in relation to a fashion designer. Second, the jackets. I have a soft spot for outerwear in general, and Altuzarra is not helping to quiet the obsession. He’s doing the exact opposite really.
The look I pulled from is sharp, modern, and has a little throwback to novelty with some argyle and the stand-up collar, leather bomber jacket. Easy enough to pull off in the real world right? You’re about to find out.
Time to check out the runway inspiration:
Here’s my take on how to wear this look :
The focus of the look is not one piece over another. The argyle print isn’t quiet, the jacket is not subtle, and the wide leg pants don’t fade into the background. So, with all of that in mind, I’ve hand-picked some similar, inspired, items to play together with one another. P.s.- I’m completely obsessed with the pants and jacket. I hate to play favorites within a look, but in this case, I couldn’t help myself.
That said, you need all parts of the puzzle to re-create the Altuzarra look we’re going for, so at the end of the day, each piece has a key role to play.
