How to Wear a Kaleidescope Rachel Roy Tank Top:

All right, this is going to be quick. Short and sweet, as it should be with this kaleidescope printed ‘Drapey’ tank from Rachel Roy ($69).

The colors are great of course, and allow for a ton of different options on what to wear it with. Layer under a jacket for day with a pencil skirt, go casual with cuffed, distressed, boyfriend jeans, or go evening like the above look.
But versatility and color is not actually what caught my eye. If you notice, after the cinched waist (which, if you read anything on this site, you’re well aware I’m a fan of) the hem is slightly elongated at either hip. This teeny tiny detail actually makes this tank noteworthy.

Also, it take what could be a basic rectangle shape and adds a little dimension. It’s details like this that get me to buy, because who really wants to look cookie-cutter? I’ve always been a fan of pushing to make a look my own and it can be very easy actually. Just takes a little trust in your style ‘eye’ and maybe, just maybe, a little direction :)

The recap: The bold top has some volume to balance out back to the denim leggings (Joe’s Jeans ‘Kicker’ legging), and the heel (Tory Burch ‘Haven’ pump), although towering, has a platform and criss crossing straps so you know it’s going to stay on should you get lost in shakin’ it on a dance floor somewhere out there.
Fashionably comfortable is NOT an oxymoron people.

Oh and let’s not forget the bright red lip (thank you Estee Lauder) and brass chain bracelet (Burberry) to add the finishing touches.

This is just one take on the tank top. I have tons of other picks in the land of women’s tops whether it’s a tank, blouse, cardi, and the list goes on. See more edited picks I’ve fallen in love with and how to wear them.
