Meet, Cosmic Thread. You’ve got to love a little truly ‘out-there’ creativity when it comes to fashion design. For instance, upon checking out the ‘About’ page on the Cosmic Thread website, I got a colorful, slightly visually dizzying, run-through on what the brand is all about. And, I think I get it? Two sisters are the masterminds behind the amazing designs that are inspired by a laundry list of thing from ‘outerspace,’ to ‘geometry.’  

The perfect finishing touch that shows just how much authenticity is behind their collections would be the line that mentions, ‘every piece is handmade,’ (wait for it) for the ‘futuristic zulu princess.’ Seriously, I could not have made that up. I’m  not that good.

I have to hand it to these two, not only are the designs swoon-worthy, there is an original and innovative story behind them. It’s basically the perfect combination  in my mind. But don’t let me gush on and on, it’s time to show you what’s up with Cosmic Thread:

I love ‘the find,’ when it comes to fashion and shopping. It’s one reason I started the ‘Introducing’ section on SBF. The second reason was because I love to see smaller, usually independent, labels creating product with massive creativity and integrity. The final reason is, I feel these creations deserve to be celebrated and shared. One, two, three, done.
