Allow me to introduce EcoShag, an LA-based, eco-saavy line of accessories that caught my eye on Etsy. Tania, the designer behind this ingenious collection, loves what she does and makes no qualms about it, which it is evident in her creations.
There’s heart behind her work, that’s a large part of why I love it, let alone the aesthetic. With each purchase, a contribution is made to a non-profit organization in the name of her sister. See? Heart. Ok, now the accessory eye candy:

And there you have it, another independent designer to add to the roster of discoveries known as ‘Introducing’ on SBF. There’s so much amazing talent out there that I can hardly stop myself from posting, which is actually a pretty healthy sign I suppose. The old-school labels of fashion institutions will always pull weight in retail, but you simply can’t deny great talent coming from the lesser known names out there. There’s room for everyone.
