J. Brand’s Skinny Bright Blue Pants & How to Wear them:
Yep, theses skinny pants are about as blue as they can get, and yes, you can actually fit them into a look without becoming the personification of primary colors. Check out how to wear J. Brand’s skinny blue twill pants that are up all over the web right now in a rainbow of colors. There’s a little color-blocking action with this look, but don’t let that fool you, it could not be any easier to put together:

1. Perfect-fit Colorblock Tee- $39.50 (www.jcrew.com) | 2. J Brand Mid-Rise Skinny Twill Pants – $176 (www.bloomingdales.com) | 3. Rosegold ‘Layla’ Sandal- was $159.00, now $63.99 (www.piperlime.gap.com) | 4. French Connection ‘Annie’ Weave Bag- was $141.36, now $98.26 (www.us.asos.com) | 5. House of Harlow 1960 Black Leather & Stone Cocktail Ring- $75 (www.boutiquetoyou.com)
If the bright blue is causing an internal conniption fit, I’d ease into it by going with a more distressed or neutral hue. But in the end, the aim of this little ensemble is pop colors that are blocked along with the proportions of the body. It’s definitely more trend-driven, however, I will show you other ways to wear these ‘skinnies’ in another post coming soon to a screen of some sort near you. Oh and a PS: hand wash the first few times so the rest of your clothing doesn’t look like you threw a smurf into the washer.
If you’re into the bottom half of the fashion equation, keep going, and check out more ways to wear pants, skirts, you name it, it’s here.
