The Jegging & How to Wear It:
A little fashion math for you: jean + legging= the jegging. Now that we have the translation under wraps… I love a jegging (see how to wear all pant and jean/legging favorites) because they’re beyond comfortable and easy to incorporate into any wardrobe. The real key here is to keep the proportions in check. With the jegging basically acting as a second skin pretending to play ‘jean,’ it’s best to even things out with a little volume on top:

1. Parker Short Sleeve Peplem Top- SOLD OUT (see more blouse options) (www.basicboutique.com) 2. Level 99 Jegging- $80 (www.revolveclothing.com) 3. Martine Sitbon Convertible Shoulder Bag- $333 (www.bluefly.com) 4. Dolce Vita Grey Suede ‘Holt’ Pump- $79.90 from $159.95 (www.nordstrom.com) 5. Gorjana ‘Graham’ Leather Wrap Bracelet- $32 from $48 (www.revolveclothing.com) 6. Low Luv by Erin Wasson Gold Knuckle Ring- (www.shopbop.com)
Parker has the best blouses out there from the colorful prints to the peplums. There’s always a feminine spin and vintage feel. This top is a perfect pairing to the skinny jegging with the cinched in waist that flatters and then flows out into a ruffled peplum.
The rest of the story continues with a classic black shoulder bag (check out my handbag favorites and how to wear them) that folds over from Martine Sitbon. Convertible shoulder bag equates to complete versatility. Next, the pumps from Dolce Vita. The wood heel and platform paired with studding on the suede give this pump a boho feel (more pumps and shoe picks here). Finally, a leather wrap, gold studded bracelet from Gorjana, and distressed gold ‘knuckle’ ring from Erin Wasson complete the look.
Jeggings are only one part of the bottom half of the fashion equation. See how to wear more of my favorite pants, jeans, skirts, etc. out there.
