I was in NYC last weekend and actually saw the same sweater on a girl waiting in line with me at the MET’s McQueen exhibit (ridiculous exhibit ps). She had the grey version on over a white tank and cut off shorts, not to mention her aviators were still on even though we happened to be completely confined to a line inside the museum with very dim lighting. Said ‘polish’ is easily pulled off with a skinny leg, navy trouser courtesy of Zara. Can’t get enough navy. The stacked heel from Charles by Charles David keeps things neutral in a soft grey and looks more work than play, all while not getting too serious. Throw in the over-sized suede shopper to fit your entire life in, and the MARC by Marc Jacobs color block ring to bring it all into focus.
